How much does it cost to join Hotelier Rates?

Hotelier Rates is completely free, with no hidden costs. There are no fees and no commissions, for either hotels or employees. Hotel brands can join for free to be able to promote their best rates for other hoteliers on the platform and hoteliers can create a free account to access exclusive member rates to book a trip.

Who is behind Hotelier Rates?

The initiative was launched by The Hotels Network (THN). We are a technology company working with over 12,000 hotels around the world and decided to create Hotelier Rates as another way to help hoteliers grow their direct booking channel (while enabling hospitality workers to travel the world!)

How do I set up a Hotelier Rates account for my hotel brand?

It is extremely quick and easy to add your hotel brand to the Hotelier Rates platform. You simply fill out the requested details in the “Add a hotel” form section.

Do I need to sign a contract?

There’s no need to sign a contract with THN as all bookings will be made directly on the hotel’s own website. Hotelier Rates is simply a networking platform that helps to connect hotel brands with other hoteliers to grow their direct channel.

As a hotel brand, do I have to provide a promotional code to be included in Hotelier Rates?

Yes, Hotelier Rates works using promotional codes. Unfortunately, it is not possible to include your hotel brand on the platform if you cannot provide a promotional code to be used for bookings on your hotel website.

What details do I need to provide to create an account for my hotel brand?

You only need to provide your contact details, some simple information related to your hotel brand (Name, country, hotel website URL etc.) and details of your offer including the related promotional code. You also need to upload a beautiful photo of your hotel to attract visitors.

My hotel brand has multiple properties. Do I have to fill out a separate form for each property?

Whatever you prefer. You can fill out one form per brand and simply list the destinations where your properties are located and the Hotelier Rates offer applies. Alternatively, you can complete one form per property and link to the relevant website URL each time. We recommend this option as it gives each property more visibility! If your brand has multiple properties, feel free to email us and we can upload the content for you directly.

My hotel brand has multiple properties. Do I have to provide multiple promotional codes?

No, the easiest solution is to provide one promotional code per brand that can be applied to make a booking at all of the properties you would like to include in the Hotelier Rates program. This way, you simply list the destinations where the properties are located where the promotional code applies. Alternatively, you can fill out a separate form for each property / group of properties and confirm the relevant promotional code each time.

Can I update the details of my hotel brand or the offer?

Yes, you can make updates any time by emailing us at hotelier.rates@thehotelsnetwork.com and sharing the updated information and offer details.

Can I cancel and remove my hotel brand if I no longer wish to participate in the program?

Yes, you can remove your hotel brand from the platform at any time by emailing hotelier.rates@thehotelsnetwork.com and requesting that the property be removed.

How will I see if the program is generating any results for my hotel brand?

You will be able to track the traffic to your hotel website and bookings generated using Google Analytics or whatever tool you currently use to track your website performance. You should also be able to see how many bookings have been made using the Hotelier Rates promotional codes.

As a hotel employee, how do I become a member of Hotelier Rates?

To be able to benefit from the exclusive member rates, you need to create an account on the website here by providing your contact details and setting a password. Membership is only available to hotel employees and so it is essential to use your work email address to register. Accounts created with personal emails such as @gmail or @hotmail will be rejected. People working in the hospitality industry but who are not hotel employees are unfortunately not eligible to participate currently.

What details do I need to provide as a hotel employee to make an account?

You only need to provide your work email, create a password and complete the first and last name fields.

Can I update my contact details if I change jobs?

Yes, in the "My Account" section of the website you can update your name, email, and passwords.

Can I cancel or delete my account if I no longer wish to participate in the program?

Yes, you can unsubscribe to the platform at any time by emailing hotelier.rates@thehotelsnetwork.com and requesting that the account be removed.

Can I use Hotelier Rates to make a hotel reservation for someone else?

No, Hotelier Rates is only available to hoteliers and so you must be staying at the property to be able to benefit from the exclusive rates. You cannot use the promotional codes to make bookings on behalf of friends or family.
